When life and career throw extreme challenges......uphill, steep, serpentine paths.... the engine gets overheated, starts to under-perform - on the verge of a break-down. The driver would also get stressed-out, at times get clueless; but at the same time persist on the basis of grit, commitment and collective well-being - the destination has to offer....then all of a sudden, a beautiful valley unveils in front...the rivulet offering coolant to the overheated engine and the NATURE de-stressing the driver.....came across such a beautiful garden: http://www.polygarden.org/....a shelter for the physically/mentally challenged people...
This Onam as part of a volunteer social service activity... together with driven, passionate, loving and caring youngsters like Nikhil M Z, Rajesh Nair, Sreelakshmi, Lakshmi Mohan, Bhavin, Ragesh Dipu, Dee Kay, Mahesh Raj,Syam Mohan,Sujith, Sreenath, Vipin Lovez, Suryaram Surya M, VI SH NU R, Sowmya, Bhavya, Sangeetha, Aiswarya, Sreelatha, Priyanka, Raju, Shahida, Prashob, Sadanam Padmini Anand ......... as part of V4U organization, we mobilized 100 chairs for their dining area with the help of sponsors....raising around 1,10,000 INR. We danced, sang and celebrated onam with the inmates....what struck us stark was the open arms which beckoned us to the pure and un-corrupted hearts these inmates held and the warmth that it radiated, in stark contrast to the "NORMAL" people we meet....
